Deputies in the Addison County Sheriff’s Department assisted a Starksboro landlord with an eviction on June 26. Several cats were found inside of the home after the person left and they were turned over to Homeward Bound.

Officers in the Addison County Sheriff’s Department chased James Turner, 35, of Salisbury, into an Orwell pond on May 21 while they were trying to apprehend him.
