Ralph Myhre golfers active

MIDDLEBURY — Members of the Ralph Myhre Golf Course last week continued to compete on a statewide basis.

On Aug. 17 four members competed in a VSWGA State Day event at the Country Club of Barre.

Eva Mastalos finished in a First Place Tie for Low Gross in Flight 3, Nicole LaBerge earned Third Place Gross in Flight 3, Giselle Lafleche took Second Place Gross in Flight 5, and Sue Rand finished Sixth Place Net in Flight 2.

Two Ralph Myhre teams competed in a Vermont Senior Four Ball tournament at Neshobe Golf Club on Aug. 18. Dale White and Ray Kelton finished Fifth Place Gross in Flight A, and Chalmers Nunn and Ted Liamos earned Fourth Place Net in Flight B.

In regular weekly competition, Hogan Beazley and Dayton Contois were the First Place Gross winners in Wednesday Evening 4 Ball on Aug. 18, with Kirk Goodman and Kyle Goodman the runners-up.

Dale White and Robert Cameron were the First Place Net winners, and Steve Nardell and Brian Dodds finished as the Second Place Net team.

In the Aug. 20 Friday Evening Mixer, the quartet of Jill Jesso-White, Cindy Wemette, Dave Wemette and Dale White prevailed, with the foursome of Frank Dorr, Patricia Dorr, John Emilo and Joan Guertin taking second.
