Crysta Lee Rainey Steady, 44, of New Haven

NEW HAVEN — Crysta Lee Rainey Steady, 44, passed away unexpectedly Aug. 2, 2019 at UVM Porter Medical Center in Middlebury.
She was born Sept. 25, 1974, in Middlebury and graduated from Vergennes Union High School in 1995.
Crysta Lee was an L.N.A. and worked for Helen Porter Nursing Home for a few years then went to Wake Robin. She was kind, loving and giving to many. She is survived by her mother Crysta Shepard Rainey, her father and stepmother Wayne and Emily Rainey, her sister Crystina of Salisbury and brother Wayne Jr. of Panton, and her children Mikayla and Howard VanderWey of Ferrisburgh.
She was predeceased by her grandparents Mare and Urban Shepard and Walter and Helen Rainey and her uncle Urban Shepard Jr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Aug. 24 at 11 a.m. at the Victory Baptist Church in Vergennes with a luncheon to follow. The burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Dialysis @ Joy Drive for all the wonderful care they provided for my sissy Crysta Lee.◊
