VERGENNES — The Vergennes Swim Team wrapped up its summer season Friday, Aug. 21, with an intramural meet in which 32 members between the ages of 8 and 12 competed in each of the disciplines. 
The Champs had honored their senior swimmers the week before. In all, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the need to follow many safety protocols, and the cancellation of the regular Champlain Valley Swim League season, 64 swimmers signed on.
They were coached by Jennifer Kingsley, Mitch Howell, Jeremy Ouimette, Addie Brooks and Georgia Houde.
