Ellen Kahler inducted into Ag Hall of Fame

ELLEN KAHLER, SECOND from left, was among the five Vermonters inducted into the Agriculture Hall of Fame in a ceremony at the Champlain Valley Fair a few weeks ago. Kahler, a Starksboro resident, is executive director of the Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund and leader of the Farm to Plate movement.

U.S. Senator Peter Welch inducted five people in the Vermont Agricultural Hall of Fame at the Champlain Valley Fair in Essex Junction on Aug. 28. Among them was Starksboro’s Ellen Kahler, who heads up the Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund.
