Smiley to discuss far-flung journalism

Xan Smiley of The Economist will deliver the 2024 Robert W. van de Velde, Jr. ’75 Memorial lecture on Tuesday, April 9, at 4:30 p.m., in Dana Auditorium on the campus of Middlebury College. His topic will be “Often mistaken: an Economist editor reflects on 50 years of far-flung journalism.”
