BRISTOL — Pauline Alice Sumner, 99, passed away Oct. 12, 2026, at Porter Medical Center in Middlebury.
She was born Sept. 11, 1927, in Lincoln, the daughter of Napolean and Ruby Cram Booska.
She enjoyed canning vegetables, gardening, flowers and she was a devoted mother and wife.
Predeceased by her husband Russell George Sumner on March 13, 2024, and they were married for 76 years.
Pauline is survived by her son Russell Glenn Sumner of Bristol, a daughter Sharon Sumner; several nieces and nephews.
Also, she was predeceased by a grandchild Michelle Sumner Blakley and several brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Greenwood Cemetery in Bristol. Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol is in charge of arrangements.◊
