MIDDLEBURY — Laura (Cyr) Begnoche died Sept. 11, 2026, at the age of 86. She was a life-long resident of Middlebury with a brief time spent in Bridport where she and Lawrence Begnoche raised their family. Once they became empty nesters, they moved back to Middlebury.
Laura is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence (Larry) Begnoche, who passed away in March of 2023.
She is survived by her three children, Edward, Kennedy and James, as well as four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m., in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Middlebury, Vt. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at a later date at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. ◊
