ADDISON COUNTY — On Tuesday, July 21, 100+ Women Who Care Addison County held their third-quarter meeting of 2026 at Haymaker Bun Company in Middlebury. Haymaker was a top-notch place to meet for a group affair. Thank you, Haymaker, for the very fine hosting and elegant spread.

Local non-profits received a record-breaking $18,700. The three finalists for this quarter were Corner School Resource Center of Granville for community building and events, Liberation Ecosystem for equity and justice across the four areas of land, environment, agriculture and foodways for the BIPOC community in Addison County, and the Bristol Have a Heart Food Shelf to provide food and essential items to 1300 households of Addison County.

Have a Heart Food Shelf was the top vote recipient receiving 70% of the funds. The runners-up both received 15% of the available funds.

100+ Women Who Care Addison County is a charitable giving circle gathering quarterly to choose three non-profits to receive our collective donations. Since 2023, our local 100+ Women chapter has gifted over $300,000 to Addison County charities (this figure includes matches from the Richard M. Schulze Foundation to whom we extend much gratitude).
