MONKTON — It’s time for the Russell Memorial Library’s annual Strawberry Festival and Book Sale! Join in on the fun at the library on Sunday, June 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for delicious strawberry shortcake and other goodies, all served with a smile. Browse through the wonderful selection of books to find just the right ones to take home for a bargain price. The strawberries are locally picked. If you would like to volunteer to help pick strawberries or to sort books this year, call the library at 802-453-4471 during the hours of 3 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday evenings or 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
