JUNE E. (WARREN) FLANAGAN

FERRISBURGH — June E. (Warren) Flanagan, 94, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026, at her granddaughter’s home in Ferrisburgh, surrounded by her family and those she loved. She was born July 2, 1931, in Ticonderoga, N.Y., the daughter of John Wesley Warren and Charlotte Petty Warren.

June was an active member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Vergennes American Legion Post 14, and the VUHS Booster Club, dedicating many hours of service to these organizations. She retired from Simmonds Precision, where her hard work and dedication fostered many wonderful, lifelong friendships. Her proudest accomplishments were providing unwavering support and love to her daughter, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

June is survived by her daughter, Sharon, and partner Bruce Smith and his children; three cherished granddaughters, Jamie Clark (Josh), Lacy Couture (Chad), and Hanah Daniel (Charles); six great-grandchildren, Colby, Cora, Rory, Cohen, Tucker, and Noah; a brother, Dale Warren (Donna); and several nieces and nephews who meant the world to her. She was predeceased by two brothers, William “Bill” Warren and David Warren; four sisters, Addie, Harriet, Dorothy, and Sandra; and a great-granddaughter, Vyvienne.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 13, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Vergennes. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, with a celebration of life held afterward at the American Legion in Vergennes. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 14 Auxiliary, 100 Armory Ln, Vergennes, VT 05491. ◊
