Happy Mother’s Day 2026!
Addison County sons and daughters wrote into the Addy Indy with some special wishes to share with their moms on this coming Sunday, May 10 — Mother’s Day!
Mom,
Words cannot express how grateful I am for everything that you have given me. For all the sacrifices, life lessons, unconditional love, and values that you have instilled in me. I wouldn’t be the man, husband, and father I am today without you. I hope that seeing this brings a smile to your face, and you know how much I love you.

What She Gave Me
By Ariana Hunter
She didn’t give me everything.
But she gave me enough
to know what matters.
How to stand
without making it a performance.
How to care
without needing credit.
How to keep going
without announcing it.
Some people teach with words.
She taught
by being.
To my sweet mom, Rose,
You are everything a wonderful mother should be, caring, loving and totally devoted to family. I thank God you are my mother.
Love you lots,
Diane
Words cannot do justice to the love that I have for you. I am so very proud to be your daughter. You have taught me how to live, love, and laugh in extraordinary ways. I am forever grateful for you and the unbreakable bond we share.
I love you forever,
Katy
I won’t be able to say Happy Mother’s Day to you in person this year, but I’m still sending it your way.
Happy Mother’s Day, Mom. I love you and miss you every day. Today I’ll be thinking of you, eating your favorite takeout and frozen chocolate eclairs, and remembering all the love you gave us—your kids—and your husband.
Wherever you are, I hope you can feel this.
Love always,
Your daughter
Kelly
Happy Mother’s Day to my mom, Martha Robinson!
Thank you for always being the kind and strong role model from whom I always learn. I love you!
– Your son, Mike
