Fire spreads across 100 acres in Ferrisburgh
WIND PUSHED FLAMES from a one-acre section of rural Ferrisburgh to an estimate 100 acres on Monday afternoon. Firefighters from 10 towns battled the blaze and brought it under control that evening.

An estimated 100 acres of land and one outbuilding were burned, according to the Vergennes Fire Department, but no one was injured.
