Carpenter won’t seek reelection to Middlebury selectboard

LONGTIME MIDDLEBURY SELECTBOARD Chair Brian Carpenter won’t seek reelection to a fifth three-year term next March. After an 11-year-run on the board, he said he will be devoting more time to his business selling farming and construction equipment.
