Carpenter won’t seek reelection to Middlebury selectboard

LONGTIME MIDDLEBURY SELECTBOARD Chair Brian Carpenter won’t seek reelection to a fifth three-year term next March. After an 11-year-run on the board, he said he will be devoting more time to his business selling farming and construction equipment.

Citing mounting professional and family responsibilities, longtime Middlebury selectboard Chairman Brian Carpenter says he won’t run again in March.
