Family expands trail in memory of loved one

SAM BRAKELEY IS spearheading an effort to expand a Middlebury walking trail in memory of his late mom, Libby Brakeley, who lost her life in a motor vehicle accident in 2002. Independent photo/John Flowers

The Brakeley family is extending Libby’s Trail on the Porter Medical Center campus, converting it into a roughly half-mile loop that anyone can enjoy.
