Tekla Fine-Lease claimed first in Flight 1 with a gross score of 78 in a VSWGA State event at Ralph Myhre Golf Course on Monday, Aug. 11.

In Flight 2 gross results, Eva Mastalos took first with a 95, while Nicole Laberge was the runner-up with a 97. For second flight net results, Giselle Lafleche finished in a third-place tie, and Jean Goodwin tied for seventh. Goodwin was also the winner of the closest-to-the-pin competition.

In VSWGA State Day competition at Proctor Pittsford Country Club on Aug. 12, Susan Rand finished in a fourth-place tie in Flight 2 with a score of 91. Nicole Laberge tied for third in Flight 4, and Jean Goodwin placed second in Flight 6.

Thursday Men’s Golf play saw foursome Gary Wright, Marsdin Van Order, Ken Hypes and Michael Reeves shoot 16-under par to secure the victory.

Taking second place at 13-under was the team of Robert Kirkpatrick, Bill Brown, Jim Dunn and Stan Pratt. Quartet Robert Cameron, Joe Thilbourg, Neil Mackey and Tom Maxwell claimed third at 11-under. Low net individual honors went to Stan Pratt, who shot a 66.

In the Friday Mixer, foursome Garvi Jesso-White, Jill Jesso-White, Dale White and Wilder Perera won with a 31.

Duo Frank Dorr and Pat Dorr were second, and the team of Bill Laberge, Nicole Laberge, Cindy Wemette and Dave Wemette finished third.
