Letter to the editor: Group creates ‘moral panic’

I am disappointed that the State House played host to “Detransitioner’s Awareness Day” on March 12. Public opposition to gender-affirming taking part in a moral panic for significant financial gain. Chloe Cole, who is scheduled to speak on Zoom, makes up to $200,000 appearing at these kinds of events.

Even taking these concerns at face value, I am advocating for the state house to host Knee Replacement awareness day, as knee replacement surgery has a higher regret rate than trans affirming care.
