Estate planning session to be held in Shoreham
SHOREHAM — Deppman Law will give a presentation on Estate Planning at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, in the Fellowship Hall of the Shoreham Congregational Church.
Everyone has an estate, consisting of everything you own: your car, home, other real estate, bank accounts, investments, life insurance, furniture, personal possessions.
Estate planning is making a plan in advance, naming the people or organizations you want to receive the things you own after you die, and taking steps now to make carrying out your plan as easy as possible later.
While some websites can suggest steps in creating an estate, it is good to have the information from some professionals first hand, and to learn if your own plans should be reviewed. So come and learn from these professionals. This presentation is free and open to the public — all are welcome and urged to attend. It is a good opportunity to ask questions about these legal matters.
The snow date for this event will be Wednesday, Jan. 29.
