STEP INTO THE shadows and light of the season with Krampusnacht. Experience an hour of symbolic stories, haunting songs, and the tale of Krampus, Dec. 13 and 14, 7:30 p.m., at the Spice Studio in Rochester. Parental discretion advised.

An eclectic mix of original material and seasonal traditions from around the world, “Krampusnacht” will be presided over by Krampus himself, the dark companion of St. Nicholas who punishes naughty children in European folklore.
