MAUSD is weighing teacher cuts
What will it take for the school district to keep the overall tax increase in the coming year to only 6%? Superintendent Patrick Reen on Tuesday presented a budget proposal that would do that, in large part by cutting more than 15 jobs — many of them in the classroom.
