Congratulations to the fire departments of Bristol, New Haven, Starksboro, Lincoln and Monkton, as well as their constituents. The five departments on Oct. 19 conducted their annual food drive that netted 4,241 pounds of food and $1,511.75 in contributions to the Bristol-based Have-A-Heart food shelf, which serves hungry people in the 5-Town area.
