MAUSD aims to lessen FY’26 tax rate hikes

With the budget building season upon us, the Mount Abraham Unified School District Board on Tuesday got another look at what a district spending plan for fiscal year 2026 could look like. On Tuesday board members set a goal of limiting overall tax rate increases in the district to no more than 6% in the coming fiscal year.
