‘Against Wings’: New exhibit wonders about the power of restraint

While you’re on campus visiting “An Invitation to Awe” at the Middlebury Museum of Art, take a walk across the beautiful grounds to the new gallery space in the Johnson Memorial Building’s atrium (it’s on Chateau Road). There you’ll find “Against Wings” — a provocative mix of new paintings by Rebecca Kinkead and poems by Ben Humphries.
