THE AUDIENCE WAS standing room only for a talk by Monkton author Ivor Hughes when he gave a talk on his book “Before We Went Wireless” on Thursday, Oct. 3, at Russell Memorial Library.

The Russell Memorial Library’s popular “meet the author” series, held last Thursday evening at the Monkton Town Hall, saw the Community room fill up fast and by the appointed start time it was down to standing room only.
