MIDDLEBURY — In Ralph Myhre Golf Course news from last week, member Susan Rand shot the best low net score in the First Flight on Sept. 11 at a VSWGA State Day at Essex Country Club.

In regular Thursday Men’s League play on Sept. 12, the foursome of Michael Sims, Eric Bergland, Mike Adams and Richard Hodgson, prevailed.

The trio of Joe Thilbourg, Tom Maxwell and Jim Dunn finished second, and the quartet of Jeff Kelley, Matthew Biette, Marsdin Van Order and Uwe Luksch took third.

Mike Adams was the day’s low net scorer, and the Closest-to-the-Pin winners were Jim Johnston and Bob Cameron.
