Panther teams experience mixed results

In recent Middlebury College action, both basketball teams split weekend games, but remained in the hunt for top-four NESCAC playoff seeds; the men’s hockey team edged closer to a playoff berth; the women’s hockey team dropped two road games and a non-league home contest, but held onto second place in NESCAC; and the ski teams were fifth at a carnival, but won two individual events.
