Tree farms start season strong

WILLIAM WERNER FASTENS a tree onto a customer’s car at Werner Tree Farm. The Middlebury tree farm lost a substantial portion of its crop due to heavy rains this summer, though other county tree farms were less affected by the extreme weather.

With the holiday season underway, county Christmas tree farms have begun welcoming visitors in search of the perfect tree and other greenery to fill their homes.
