Bristol church celebrates 20 years of support for children, families in Uganda

Around two decades ago, members of the First Baptist Church of Bristol pooled donations to help support youth in rural Uganda. The effort was originally intended to fund Christmas presents for a single family, but ultimately led to the creation of a nonprofit organization that now offers comprehensive support for over 200 children and their families in several villages in the East African country.
