Matt Dickinson to discuss polarization on Apr. 19
MIDDLEBURY — In the final presentation of the AAUW series on polarization, Middlebury College Political Science Professor Matt Dickinson will speak on “A Polarized America?” on Tuesday, April 19, at 7 p.m., via Zoom.
During his talk Dickinson will address the evidence regarding the widely shared assumption by journalists, politicians, and cable-news pundits that we live in a polarized country. During his presentation and in the question/answer period following, he will examine who, if anyone, is polarized, and on what issues.
To register for the presentation, visit ilsleypubliclibrary.org and select “Programs” on the upper bar. Then scroll to “Adult Program Descriptions and Registration,” and to “AAUW Speaker Series.” Click on “Register here!” at the end of the description.
