It’s been a sweet season for apples

Hundreds of ripe sweet apples wait to be pressed into cider at Happy Valley Orchard in East Middlebury this past Tuesday. Trees in Bridport, Middlebury, Monkton, New Haven and Shoreham produced a bumper crop in 2021, and in some cases those trees are still giving.
