Shoreham news for Oct. 14

SHOREHAM—  On behalf of the Friends of the Platt Memorial Library in Shoreham, Carol Causton is giving a big thank you to all sponsors and volunteers who made Apple Fest such a great success. After a difficult COVID year, it was wonderful to see neighbors and friends again.

A bigger turnout than ever gathered on a beautiful Vermont Sunday to listen to the music of Snake Mountain Bluegrass, enjoy homemade lunch and dig in to slices of apple pie! There were lots of kids’ activities and a wide variety of local vendors.

Apple Fest is the biggest fundraiser of the year on behalf of the Platt Memorial Library, and we appreciate all the support. A special thanks goes to Molly Francis and Cora Waag, Causton’s cohorts.
