George W. Hallock II, 38, of Vergennes
VERGENNES — George W. Hallock II 38, passed away Monday, Sept. 6, 2021, upon arrival at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was born March 10, 1983, in Middlebury, the son of George W. Hallock Sr. and Karen Cormier.
George grew up in Vergennes and attended local schools.
He worked as a mechanic, fabricator and welder in Addison County.
George enjoyed riding motorcycles, cooking, building things and helping others.
He is survived by his father, George W. Hallock Sr., of New Haven; by his mother, Karen Sheppeard, of Rutland; and by his siblings, Robert Cormier of Salisbury, Chris Cormier of Rutland, Mike Cormier of Willsboro, N.Y., and Danielle Hemingway of New Haven. His also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 18, and will be announced on Social Media.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home.
