Antonius Block, a local musical duo, recently released their first single, and plan to debut their album Blue Over Grey on Jan. 8 through all the major online streaming platforms. Rob M. After graduating from Middlebury College, Shaw lived in North Ferrisburgh for two years, then rerouted to Somerville via San Francisco and Tahoe.
A. Jay Dubberly of Vergennes, is the lyricist and emcee of Antonius Block. Dubberly is a published poet and founder of Zig Zag Lit Mag, Addison County’s literary journal. Originally from New Hampshire, Dubberly moved to Vermont after getting his Master of Fine Arts in Writing from Goddard College.
Shaw and Dubberly met working in the kitchen at Mary’s Restaurant & the Inn at Baldwin Creek in Bristol. Check out their new release at musicantoniusblock.bandcamp.com/releases.
