Stacey Stone named as NBM board member
MIDDLEBURY —Stacey P. Stone has been appointed to the National Bank of Middlebury’s board of directors. Stone is a co-owner, along with her brother Corey Pratt and father Darwin Pratt, of Pratt’s Store and Catering in Bridport, a fixture for more than 50 years. She also assists her husband Todd with their newly-acquired dealership, Stone Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Middlebury.
Stone began acquiring business experience as a 10-year-old when she would stand on a milk crate to run the cash register at Pratt’s Store. It was there she learned all aspects of running a small business including bookkeeping, purchasing, customer service, marketing, and catering. Stone received a Business degree from Champlain College. She currently serves on the Retail Advisory Board for Associated Grocers of New England.
Stone and her husband reside in Middlebury and have three grown children Hillary, Justin, and Blair. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and family adventures. She brings to the board a wealth of small business experience and states, “It is a privilege to serve on the board of directors of such a renowned, reputable bank.”
