Salisbury library open by appointment
SALISBURY — The Salisbury Free Public Library has reopened by appointment, according to Librarian Ruth Bernstein. You may call (802-352-4198), email ([email protected]) or message on facebook (@SalisburyLibrary), either to order materials prepared for you to pick up, as has been the practice, or to set up an appointment to come browse among the many new and current titles. The Library’s regular hours will be Tues. and Thurs. from 1 until 4 p.m.
The State Librarian still recommends ordering and picking up materials as the safest form of library patronage. If you set up an appointment to visit the Library you will be asked to wear a mask and sanitize your hands. Visits will be limited to 30 minutes. Regularly updated information about new books is on our website: salisburypubliclibrary.wordpress.com/home/newbooks/.
The Library continues to offer free books, movies, puzzles and crafts just outside the door, on the porch. Come in to learn how to access free ebooks and audio books; get a library card; get technical assistance. If you need something we don’t have, we’ll find it with the help of InterLibrary Loan. If you would enjoy reading and discussing books, be sure to inquire about the Librarysponsored bookclub.
The Library Board is sad to say there will be no Halloween Pizza Party or Turkey Raffle this year. We hope to resume these community activities next year.
