Golfers still vying at Ralph Myhre

MIDDLEBURY — Cooler and less predictable weather has not yet put a halt to weekly competition at Ralph Myhre Golf Course.
In the Wednesday Scramble on Oct. 7 first place went to the group of Bert Phinney, Ric Wheeler, Josh Newton and Dale White. The team of Jesse Wing, Dave Andrews and Conner McCarthy was the runner-up.
On Oct. 8 Bill Davidson Thursday Men’s Golf action, the trio of Allen Smith, Richard Hodgson and Marsdin Van Order emerged victorious. Smith was also the day’s low net player.
Jim Dayton, Matthew Biette and Pete Damone took second, and the team of Dave Campbell, Jim Hadeka and Bill Brown was third.
In the Friday Mixer the next day, the foursome of Jay Best, Georgia Best, Jill Jesso-White and Dale White prevailed, with the quartet of Jim Hadeka, Deb Hadeka, Bernie Andrews and Liz Andrews finishing second.
