Wing steps up to VP at Orwell bank

ORWELL — The First National Bank of Orwell has appointed Lindsey Wing as its vice president and senior loan officer. In her role at the bank, Wing is responsible for the lending team, loan compliance and the bank’s wholesale lending operations.
She also continues her responsibilities in developing and managing a growing portfolio of mortgage, consumer and commercial loans. Wing joined the bank in 2014 and has been in banking for nearly 20 years, first beginning her career as a teller at another local community bank.
“Lindsey not only does a great job working with customers and helping them to find the best financial solutions for their needs, she also oversees the roll-out of policy and regulatory changes across the entire loan department, as well as guiding the department through a process of continual improvement,” said bank CEO Bryan Young.
Wing also serves on the American Bankers Association Emerging Leaders Council as well as the Vermont Bankers Association Mortgage Committee. She lives in Shoreham with her husband and their two boys.
The First National Bank of Orwell, founded in 1863, is among the oldest national banks in New England.
