Leicester news for May 21
LEICESTER — Green Up bags are available at the town office, between the two doors. Be safe when gathering trash — use gloves and practice social distancing. Due to concerns around Covid-19 there will be no Green Up Day lunch or raffle this year. A trailer to hold filled Green Up bags will be parked at the town shed starting the morning of May 30. Bags along the roadside will be collected Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning. For more information or to find out where you can help, call Diane at 247-3786.
Following the Governor’s latest Executive Order, the Leicester Historical Society will not be sponsoring Prize Bingo in June. Members hope to resume in September.
