SPRINGFIELD — Host Springfield held on to edge the Otter Valley Union High School boys’ basketball team on Saturday, 44-43.
The Cosmos led by 38-25, in the third quarter, before the Otters rallied in the late going. They had a shot at game-winning three at the buzzer that wouldn’t drop as the fell to 2-3.
Dylan Merrow led the 3-2 Cosmos with 16 points.
Cole Letourneau scored 12 to pace the 2-3 Otters, who will host Proctor on Wednesday.
