National Bank of Middlebury plans money raffle
National Bank of Middlebury is helping boost the local economy by giving away $1,000 in Vergennes, as well as in the four other towns where it has branches. The bank is holding a raffle of $500 to a local shopper and $500 to a local business with the intent of seeing that money spent wihtin the community.
This currency can be spent in Vergennes, to help keep money circulating locally.
The bank is calling it the Shop Local & Win Raffle.

The ticket will include merchant name, shopper’s name, shopper’s email address, and shopper’s phone number.
