Stephen Busier, 65, formerly of Hinesburg
PHOENIX, Ariz. — Stephen J. Busier, formerly of Hinesburg, Vt., passed away unexpectedly at his home in Phoenix, Ariz., on April 13, 2019, at the age of 65.
Steve was born in Colchester on April 4, 1954, to Raymond H. Busier & Beulah E. (Berry) Busier, the seventh of nine children.
Steve grew up in Hinesburg, Vt., and attended Champlain Valley Union H.S. After graduating in 1972 Steve later joined the Navy in November of the same year.
Steve loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and loved riding his Harley.
Steve is survived by his two daughters Heidi Busier and Greta Busier, both of Bristol, Vt.; two grandchildren, Latisha and Aidan Busier of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; brothers Conrad and wife Sharon of St. Albans, Vt., Gilman of California, Philip of Weybridge, Vt., and Brian and wife Kathy of Hinesburg Vt.; sisters Susan Peet and Husband David of St. George, Vt., Doreen Kendall and husband Doug of So. Burlington, Vt., and Ellen Busier and Marty Therrien of Burlington, Vt.; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Steve was predeceased by his father Raymond, his mother Beaulah, older brother Tim Busier, his son Dereck Busier and grandson Justin Traverse.
There will be a private service for the family at the veterans cemetery in Randolph on Oct. 7.
