OV field hockey thumps Slaters, 15-0
FAIR HAVEN — The Otter Valley Union High School field hockey team romped past winless host Fair Haven on Tuesday, 15-0. The 6-2 Otters should face a stiffer test at Woodstock on Friday.
Alia Edmunds led the rout with four goals and assists, and Morgan LaPorte also scored four times. Riley Keith scored twice, and Livia Bernhardt, McKenzie McKay, Bella Falco, Alice Keith and Ellie Ross — OV’s starting goalie taking a turn in the field — added a goal apiece.
Ross made three saves and Madison Colburn added two saves for OV, while Fair Haven’s Jordyn Howard stopped 20 shots.
