Mount Abe girls’ soccer eases past Rice
SOUTH BURLINGTON — Mount Abraham Union High School girls’ soccer picked up a big road win on Tuesday, topping host Rice, a 2018 Division II finalist, 4-1.
The Eagles improved to 3-1 and will host Spaulding on Friday.
Becca Laurent and Addy Harris scored two goals apiece to spark the Eagles, who had a 14-6 advantage in shots on goal.
Emma Blanck scored for Rice, and goalie Emily McDonald stopped 10 shots.
