Eagle field hockey tips Wolves in OT
BRISTOL — The Mount Abraham Union High School field hockey squad on Tuesday remained unbeaten by defeating previously undefeated South Burlington, 2-1, in overtime.
The Eagles improved to 3-0-2 and will host Middlebury on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. The Wolves dropped to 4-1.
Emma Fay scored in overtime to give the Eagles the victory. It was her second goal of the game. Mount Abe goalie Kira Murray backstopped the victory with seven saves.
Lindsey Booth scored for SBHS, and goalie Ainsley Hultgren was credited with 19 saves.
