Letter to the editor: Letter was inspiring

Regarding Richard Tanhauser’s letter in the Sept. 5 edition of the Independent, I don’t think I have ever read a letter to the editor that is so positive and prompted me to express how much reading it has made me think differently.
If we all embraced this definition of “leadership” and lived our lives trying to “live” up to that definition, how we would change the world. It doesn’t take popular, famous, powerful leaders to make a difference. I have always thought that those of us who live in Shoreham have learned to agree to disagree and then go to the pub and have a drink and behave like friends.
Richard, you make me proud to call Shoreham my home and I will try to keep this definition in my thoughts as I go through the day, every day….
