St. Peter’s to host divorce support group
VERGENNES — Surviving Divorce is a divorce support program based on the teachings of the Catholic Church that aims to help bring hope and healing to those who have experienced the pain and loneliness of a broken marriage. The support group will host meetings at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Vergennes this fall beginning Thursday, Sept. 5.
Surviving Divorce is open to the newly separated and divorced and those still struggling with issues many years later. It will be led by those who have walked this path, and features video presentations and group discussion that will answer questions, restore hope, and begin authentic healing.
The 12-week support group will be held on Thursday evenings, 6:30-8 p.m., Sept. 5 through Nov. 21 at St. Peter’s Catolic Church at 85 South Maple St. in Vergennes. Contact Sharon at 877-6585 for information and registration.
