Little league stars split in Vermont tourney
BENNINGTON — The District 1 champion Addison County 8-to-10-year-old Little League All-Star team split two games this past weekend at the state championship tournament and will return to action this Friday in Bennington in an elimination game vs. Essex. AC opened this past Saturday with a 6-3 loss to Essex in which a rally from an early 5-0 deficit came up short. The team then bounced back to knock off Connecticut Valley, 15-4.
