Letter to the editor: ‘Concentration camp’ is offensive

I picked up my first and last copy of your newspaper at a local restaurant. On page one my eyes fell on a story by Christopher Ross  about a protest. In the article he refers to Detention Centers as Concentation Camps. His use of that term to describe present day Detention Centers is inflammatory and insulting to all victims who were sent to real Concentration camps to face hard labor, starvation or immediate extinction. In U.S. detention centers, those held get three meals a, day, showers, beds and free medical care. I think your paper owes your readers an apology.
