Organist and noteworthy musician Dr. Charles Edmund Callahan Jr., 72, died Christmas Day, December 25, 2023, at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.
A newly installed Walker organ, completed in November 2021, will feature in a concert at the Cornwall Congregational Church on Sunday, May 1, at 2:30 p.m.
For the past seven years, Jenny Bower has been sitting at the Vergennes Congregational Church’s 1879 Hook and Hastings organ, playing hymns and more for congregants.
