Two members each from the Middlebury Union High School girls’ and boys’ hockey teams received postseason honors. 

Boys’ hockey ousted in OT

Top-seeded Colchester on Wednesday night, Feb. 28, ended the No. 8 seeded Middlebury Union High School boys’ hockey season in dramatic fashion, 4-3 in a Division II quarterfinal’s second overtime period. 

Girls’ hockey reaches semifinal

The No. 6 seeded Middlebury Union High School girls’ hockey team won its opening quarterfinal Division II playoff game last week, but came up short in the semifinal round. The Tigers finished their season at 10-12. 

Tiger girls win Nordic skiing title; MUHS boys’ team is 3rd

The MUHS girls’ Nordic ski team on Friday completed its dominant performance in the two-day Division II championship meet by trouncing all comers in freestyle races in Craftsbury.

The No. 6 seed Middlebury Union High School rallied to knock off host No. 3 Woodstock on Wednesday, 3-2, in a quarterfinal Division II playoff game. 

Boys’ hockey wins D-II playoff opener

The No. 8 seed Middlebury Union High School boys’ hockey team on Saturday outlasted visiting No. 9 U-32, 7-6, in a Division II first-round playoff game. 

Couture, Cram and Preston win Vt. state wrestling titles
